Job Description

Vendor Velocity is seeking a highly motivated, innovative, and energetic individual to fill our Vendor Representative position in the Seattle area.  This individual will have the opportunity to work with potential and existing vendor partners to build strong relationships that will support growth and vendor retention.

The Vendor Representative will be responsible for the following:

  • Manage the day-to-day vendor relationships with potential and existing vendors.
  • Identify, sign and conduct on-boarding for new vendors to sell products on
  • Proactively and autonomously plan promotional opportunities, and other business inputs.
  • Conduct pricing analysis and recommend solutions to optimize profit margins.
  • Create business plans for new opportunities.
  • Continually monitor competitor/industry developments.
  • Troubleshoot vendors’ operational issues.
  • Travel up to 10%.

Desired Skills and Expertise


  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business or technology related field.
  • Will accept equivalent work experience in lieu of education.


  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Vendor Manager for an online marketplace such as
  • Previous experience working with vendors on the platform is preferred.
